History

Our local Association of REALTORS® belongs to the Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR). We are a three-tier organization, franchised by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). A portion of the members’ dues is paid for membership into these organizations. 

The Ft. Pierce Board of REALTORS® was incorporated in 1922, before the Florida Real Estate Commission was instituted and sixteen years after the formation of the Florida Association of REALTORS®. In 2004, our Association undertook a name change to become REALTORS® Association of St. Lucie, Incorporated; fondly referred to as RASL.
